Sometimes I forget about video calls as a form of media--but of course it is! That's helped me keep in touch with my family, since they're in Arizona and I'm up here. I'm not really a fan of texting conversations or phone calls because I like to see the person I'm talking to, and video calls help with that!
Most recently, I got a call from my sister, who is a junior in high school, for some help with an English assignment. I'm the official "writing guru" of our family, I guess, so whenever my younger siblings have questions, they come to me! I'm not sure if the advice I gave her was actually that good, but it was a great way to keep in contact with her and keep up a good relationship with her! I love that technology has advanced so that I am able to call my siblings and see their faces while talking with them.

I'd never thought of video calls in this way, but I totally agree! I love getting to talk to my brother who is on a mission over video calls, as well as keeping up with my family through video messages. It helps keep us connected!
